  • Op ons eie – ons eie pogings en wilskrag.Mislukking en frustrasie is ons voorland.

Die vroeë Christene het nie net geestelike dinge nie, maar ook materiële dinge gedeel (Handelinge 2:44 – 45). Paulus moedig ons aan: Help die medegelowiges in hulle nood en lê julle toe op gasvryheid (Romeine 12:13). Moenie nalaat om goed te doen en mededeelsaam te wees nie, want dit is offers wat vir God aanneemlik is (Hebreërs 13:16). ‘n Bereidwilligheid om ons besittings te deel met mekaar is ‘n belangrike aspek van ware Bybelse gemeenskap.
