Ons het gesien dat Jesus Christus regmaak wat verkeerd is. Dit bring ons by die volgende vraag: Hoe moet ons daarop reageer? Dit bring ons by dié fundamentele aspek van ons verhouding met God – geloof. Maar wat beteken geloof? Daarvoor gaan ons na Jesus se ontmoeting met Maria Magdalena kyk.
Niemand het in homself die vermoë om self geloof in Jesus Christus te produseer nie. Daarvoor het hy ‘n ingryping van buite nodig.
Jesus Christus het herhaaldelik verwys na sy dood en opstanding. Maria Magdalena moes terdeë daarvan bewus gewees het. Tog toe sy die leë graf sien, was haar eerste reaksie dat hulle die Here uit die graf weggevat het.
